Our nanny and caregiver placement services are ideal for families with children or family members who may:

Our process is simple and thoughtful.

  • Getting to know your household

    Families begin by completing a detailed application that helps us understand:

    • Household structure and routines

    • Child(ren)’s ages, personalities, and developmental needs

    • Cultural, spiritual, and family values

    • Caregiving goals and expectations

    • Schedule, compensation range, and role responsibilities

    This application allows us to begin the matching process with intention and clarity.

  • Values, needs, and alignment

    Following the application, families participate in a one-on-one intake interview. This conversation allows us to explore:

    • Family dynamics and caregiving philosophy

    • Communication styles and boundaries

    • Emotional, behavioral, or transitional needs within the household

    • What “good care” looks like to your family

    The intake interview ensures that placements are guided by relationship fit.

  • Activating the search

    Once the intake is complete and both parties agree to move forward, families submit a non-refundable engagement fee of $350, in addition to an engagement contract. This fee activates the personalized matchmaking process and covers:

    • Candidate sourcing and screening

    • Values-alignment review

    • Interview coordination and guidance

    This step reflects our commitment to intentional, high-quality placements.

  • Thorough, thoughtful, and transparent

    All caregiver candidates considered for placement undergo a multi-layered screening process, which includes:

    • Initial candidate interview (experience and caregiving philosophy)

    • Reference checks with prior families or supervisors

    • Background check

    • CPR/First Aid and Educational Check

    • Social media review to assess professionalism and alignment

    Families are then introduced to select candidates and invited to participate in interviews to assess mutual fit.

  • Before finalizing the hire, families and caregivers engage in a structured 1-2 day paid trial period. This allows both parties to:

    • Experience day-to-day dynamics

    • Observe communication and caregiving style

    • Confirm expectations and boundaries

    Feedback is gathered to support a thoughtful decision moving forward.

  • Once the trial period is successfully completed, families move forward with hiring their caregiver by submitting a placement fee of $2,500.

    Monaé & Co. provides a contract detailing:

    • Placement confirmation

    • Employer responsibilities

    • Employee pay and benefits

    • Support with role clarity and expectations

    • Respect for boundaries and labor

    • Alignment with ethical caregiving practices

    • Willingness to engage in legal employment arrangements

    • Generous employment packages
